* Virta is available to HMSA’s Federal Plan 87 members and eligible dependents between the ages of 18-79. This benefit is currently being offered to those with type 2 diabetes. The Virta program for eligible members will be covered for two years from initial enrollment. There are some medical conditions that would exclude members from the Virta program.
