Beginning January 1, 2025, 45 CFR 156.230(a)(2)(i)(B) requires Qualified Health Plan (QHP) issuers, including Stand Alone Dental Plan (SADP) issuers, in the Federally Facilitated Exchanges (FFEs) to meet appointment wait time standards established by the FFE. For the 2025 plan year, QHP issuers, including SADP issuers, will be required to ensure that new patients seeking an appointment are able to schedule an appointment within the time frames below at least 90% of the time.

- 10 business days for Behavioral Health Providers
- 30 business days for Specialty Care Providers
