Handbook Availability
The HMSA QUEST Integration Provider Handbook is available online from the HMSA Provider Resource Center provider portal at QUEST Integration – Online Provider Handbook. The handbook, which can be viewed by any provider, contains information on QUEST Integration benefits, claims filing information, and other administrative requirements. A hardcopy of the online handbook can be requested at no cost for delivery within thirty (30) days by calling QUEST Integration Provider Service at 808-948-6486 (Oahu), or toll-free from the Neighbor Islands at 1-800-440-0640.
Handbook Updates
The QUEST Integration Provider Handbook is updated throughout the year as benefit policies are reviewed and updated, requirements are changed, or procedures are clarified. All Provider Handbook updates are announced to all providers in writing (unless the provider has requested electronic notification instead) in the QUEST Integration Provider Bulletin, which is sent to all providers free of charge. Changes are reflected in the online handbook no later than five days following the change. Updates are communicated to our Providers in the monthly publication, HealthPro News. Providers should take note of policies and procedures that affect them and incorporate the changes into their practices.
