QUEST Integration - Perinatal Care

HMSA ensures that appropriate perinatal care is provided to women. At a minimum, the following services are available:

• HMSA QUEST Integration members have access to appropriate levels of perinatal care based on medical need, including emergency care.
• HMSA QUEST Integration allows for the transfer and care of pregnant women, newborns and infants to/in tertiary care facilities when necessary.
• For patients with complicated perinatal problems, OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists are available and accessible.
• There are available and accessible, appropriate outpatient and inpatient facilities capable of dealing with complicated perinatal problems.
