As a reminder, effective January 1, 2023, Magellan Health will manage HMSA’s Physical Medicine Program for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Chiropractic services. Please refer to the Evolent Health Utilization Management Programs page in the Provider Resource Center for information, training, and guides for the Physical Medicine Program.
Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) partners with eviCore healthcare to assist in the management of outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, and chiropractic services. The objective of these programs is to bring transparency and accountability to the practice patterns as well as promoting efficiency in the delivery of therapy services.
