Confidentiality of Medical Information

HMSA and its designated agents will take all necessary precautions to maintain patient confidentiality and prevent the unauthorized disclosure of patient records. Access to patient records is granted only to certain staff on an as-needed basis. All HMSA and Magellan Hawai’i employees, as a condition of their employment, sign agreements pledging to preserve the confidentiality of patient information.
