Honokaa residents will now be able to have their prescriptions delivered to their homes for free, thanks to a program from the Hawai‘i Medical Service Association (HMSA) and CVS Health®, which does business in Hawaii as Longs Drugs. The program is open to HMSA members with prescriptions at Longs in the Honokaa community.
“We’re always collaborating with our partners to find ways to make life easier for our members,” said HMSA President and CEO Michael B. Stollar. “We’ve been working with state lawmakers to increase affordable access to prescription drugs. You shouldn’t have to go out of your way to get your medications. Now, store employees will bring your prescriptions right to your doorstep. That means no long drives to the pharmacy.”
Deliveries will be made to Honokaa residents on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. To request this free service, Honokaa residents can call Longs Drugs in Waimea at 885-4418.
