Serving HMSA Members Is the Focus of New Senior Vice President Stephany Vaioleti

HMSA welcomes Stephany Vaioleti as its new Senior Vice President of Member Operations, starting October 16. She will lead the HMSA membership team and enhance the company’s excellent member service.

“HMSA has always delivered a caring, personalized experience to our members. Stephany’s leadership will help us continue our outstanding member service and stay ahead of the many changes in health care,” said HMSA CEO Michael A. Gold.

She comes to HMSA from Kahuku Medical Center, where she served as chief executive officer and led the hospital to notable improvements in patient care and customer service, including:

  • Being named a top critical access hospital by the National Rural Health Association with a patient satisfaction rate of 93 percent.
  • Installing its first electronic health record system that empowers doctors to easily and securely share patient diagnoses, care plans, and other vital information.
  • Earning the Gold Seal of Approval from the national health care organization the Joint Commission.
